Yonda COVID-19 Statement

Dear #Yondaletes, There has been a lot of media, worry and uncertainty around the rising threat of COVID-19 / Coronavirus, so I wanted to take a moment to address these concerns and give you an update from the team here at Yonda. Here at Yonda Sports, we're closely monitoring the situation relating to the pandemic and are following government advice and guidance. We have the health and safety of our staff, customers and community as our first priority. Where we're at: At present, as a company Yonda Sports will remain operating where possible, while we can. As an independent business we are offered little to no choice when it comes to the closing of our doors so we will endeavour to keep moving forward and supporting those around us. Within our office and warehouse we are utilising recommendations from the WHO and national public health advice to help prevent the further spread of the virus. Our workspace remains untouched by the virus at present and we have careful sanitation practices. We have a small team, so self isolation may soon become our approach. How have things changed? The Yonda Sports website remains open and we will be able to meet delivery of most orders. As you may be aware, we've just taken stock of our new 2020 wetsuits, therefore these orders can be fulfilled. If you have a question or need support, we're available as we always have been. As the economy will be taking a huge dive during this difficult time, it makes running and operating in daily life even harder for independent businesses, no matter the industry, be it creative, sporting, hospitality or care. There is no doubt that we will all be feeling the impact. We urge you to continue your support of the independent businesses that are cornerstones of our national economy. We have to push through this. The physical and mental wellbeing of those around us is the main priority. Please monitor your own health closely to avoid unnecessary spreading of COVID-19 and self-isolate if you feel that this is necessary. We would recommend that you remain active where possible, get outdoors for a walk, run, or bike ride - or maybe just make some time to get on the turbo! We wish everyone the best and if the team at Yonda can support you in any way, please feel free to get in touch. Thank you for your continued support, Angus Greenwood, Founder of Yonda Sports.
