Yonda Sports was established in 2014, by founder Angus Greenwood after a successful career in technical textiles. Angus has a passion for triathlon and started Yonda Sports after realising a gap in the market with the wetsuits he was picking off the shelf. The award winning Yonda Ghost

The Ghost wetsuit is Yonda’s flagship, high end, performance wetsuit. This wetsuit is aimed at competitive athletes that are looking to achieve marginal goals by having the best suit in the competition. The Ghost wetsuit has so far been worn by elite triathletes including Mark Devay, Pierre Le Corre and several athletes from French triathlon clubs. In 2017, the Ghost I won 220 Triathlon Magazine’s ‘Editor’s Choice award and this was what started Yonda’s hunger for success. Angus (Mr Yonda) says “We knew that the Ghost I was unlike anything that had been seen before, but I’ve never been one to stand still and I knew that we wanted to see how fast we could make this suit.” Yonda updated the style and some of the panelling for the Ghost II which was launched in 2019. It was then that 220 Triathlon Magazine awarded this wetsuit ‘Best on Test. Angus had further ambitions for the Ghost wetsuit and wanted to add buoyancy panels to the front and Yamamoto #45 to the arms and shoulders. The Ghost III hit the market in 2021 and is unlike any suit seen before. 220 Triathlon magazine said “Yonda’s Ghost 2 won our wetsuit grouptest in 2020, and it’s fair to say mark 3.0 has impressed us once more’ and this wetsuit once again took ‘Best on Test’. In this same edition, the Yonda Spectre wetsuit won ‘Best on Test’ and ‘Best Value’ in the women’s wetsuit category. The tester in this write up said “this design really helped with the fit around the hips and with ease of movement overall, which was something we hadn’t seen on similar wetsuits on test’.   The Yonda Ghost 3 is also available as a Swimrun wetsuit and a Race suit.
